Aqeel Rhemtula
Co-founder and executive director of ZAR Attorneys. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Limpopo. He was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 2011, and as a Conveyancer in 2012.
He has extensive experience in the property sector, and has been involved in multiple mega deal-structing transactions for various corporate entities as well as private individuals.
His career began at Espag Magwai Attorneys where he spent 10 years, and subsequently acted as a Director at Nazia Carrim Attorneys for 2 years.
He then co-founded ZAR Attorneys with his wife Zeenat Rhemtula.
Zeenat Rhemtula
Co-founder and executive director of ZAR Attorneys. Zeenat holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Pretoria. She was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 2011.
Zeenat articled at Tim Du Toit Attorneys in Pretoria, where she gained extensive knowledge in Civil Litigation, Property and Banking.
She then went on to work at First National Bank, where she primarily focussed on legal compliance.
During her tenure at FNB, she gained valuable experience in deal-making, asset management and corporate finance.
